TIMEX, FAPRA AND NIPR ORGANIZE GLOBAL COMMUNICATION
SUMMIT:
Timex Communications Limited, a Lagos based public relations
agency in partnership with the Federation of African Public
Relations Associations (FAPRA) and Nigerian Institute of
Public Relations (NIPR) has scheduled a Global Communication
Summit for February 2008.
The summit, which President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua of
the Federal Republic of Nigeria is expected to declare open,
will take place at Le Meridien Hotel (now Nicon Luxury)
Abuja on February 24 – 26, and plans to bring presidents/chairmen
of international public relations associations and their
African counterparts to examine the great potentials of
communication in sensitizing Nigerians and Africans in general
on the anti-corruption war.
The theme of the Global Communication Summit is Building
a Corruption-Free Society: the Challenges of Communication
and it is in support of the Federal Government’s war
against corruption. |
